How high do you rank Povetkin in ATG heavyweights that are 6ft2 and under?

He's an extremely good boxer but he's in his twilight years and he is still yet to achieve greatness. Because he has yet to become a world champion, I'd rate him outside of my top 10.

If Ali wasn’t 6’3, he’s 6’2.5. Rounding up is fine. Exaggerating an inch or more isn’t.

In a head to head sense, absolutely! I think he'd be a favorite to beat any past / current heavyweight shorter than 6 foot 4 inches in height and would only be significantly outmatched and mismatched against giant top / elite super heavyweights like the Klitschkos, Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and also Deontay Wider probably. And there's no shame in that! Simply because, I don't see any past / current heavyweight having a better chance at beating those top / elite giant super heavyweights. If anything, I give most of them a lesser chance!

Povetkin has the best combination of skills + punching power + willpower / determination which makes him an extremely difficult opponent to beat. He is like a Joe Frazier, Mike Tyson and an Evander Holyfield hybrid.

I'd make him a heavy favorite to beat any heavyweight before 1980 and would make him a slight favorite to beat Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson.

So yes, I rank him number 1!

And Povetkin is only 6 foot 1.5 inches in height by the way.

I don't think so but he has carved out a pretty decent career for his size.

Of the ones not mentioned so far I'd throw is Michael Moorer above Povetkin. Lineal, unified, two time heavyweight champion of the world. Sasha has never even held a real world title.
