Is Povetkin the best fighter in the division?

I wonder when the WBA would force the issue? Hearn is talking about Miller then Wilder, at what point will Povetkin say that he's due his mandatory? Or is he happier to face AJ once he has all the belts?

 

Joshua hasn't weight bullied any of his opponents using his size. They've been clean performances without any hugging and leaning.
And since Martin nearly all of his opponent were as big as him.

Nope. That was the only legal KD of the fight. The other 3 times Povetkin was thrown down by his neck.

 

One doesn't need to hug and lean on their opponents to 'weight bully' them. A weight advantage usually gives one a physical strength, punching power and punch resistance advantage. Especially when one is composed of mostly functional weight like Anthony Joshua.

Anthony Joshua's size advantage over Carlos Takam meant Takam couldn't hurt him with many of his seemingly best punches. And multiple them! He was able to walk through those punches whilst landing more powerful punches of his own. Someone that is Takam's own size would probably not be able to do such a thing.

And it takes less skills to beat someone one's own size, then it does to beat someone that is physically bigger in size. So even if Joshua faced opponents his own size. Small heavyweights like Povetkin have to regularly face opponents much bigger than themselves.

 

First one was a knock down.
Second one was debatable.
Third one was a knock down.
Fourth one was a knock down.

I do not care if Povetkin went down due to not controlling the own legs or going down because of being deadly tired and because of that can hold the stance after getting punched.

Are you blind or something? The last one clearly shows Wlad hold Pov with one arm and use the other arm to topple him over. The 1-2 punch that he hit him with did not drop him , it was the subsequent throw down that dropped him. Idiot. Don't argue against video footage.
