Agreed. Povetkin used to be the best. Not now. The thing Povetkin was not given credit for is his ability to land those combos while moving his feet. accurate hands and he had the balance to fire off a perfect left uppercut in the mix. Who else out there throws perfect uppercuts with both hands?
Povetkin won the gold medal at superheavyweight for a reason......................now he is being persecuted by the biased WBC/VADA to keep him away from Wilder......................the WBC will do anything to protect Wilder! Now Wilder will instead fight his 5th voluntary title defense against another wino from the alley.............
He might be a great counter puncher but he is an awful drug cheat. He gets caught way too often, he seems very easy to catch. He just isn't leaning how to avoid detection.
If he had competed in the 90's when Ostarine was a legal supplement to use and Meldonium was not banned yet there would be no problems with PED testing on his part
I'd say yes. He strings those punches together beautifully. Other guys may have better jabs, hooks, whatever, but those are usually single punches; when Povetkin gets his range and lets rip, it's beautiful.
He can throw some good punches in succession, but like people have already touched on... He's A PED infused freak.. no ands, ifs, or buts about it.
