The most obvious ducker at heavy is Toney, who has called out the Klits repeatedly than shat his pants all the way to the buffet when they looked in his direction.

Secondly would be Haye, who is similar to Toney but hasn't been doing it quite so long. Also he doesn't run to the buffet. But his pants are just as brown.

Povetkin would be in third place. His team has made it obvious that they don't think he is ready yet and want him to get more fights. So yeah, he is avoiding the fight for now, but it isn't as obvious or as shameful as Toney and Haye.

i agree that he should avoid the klitschkos for a while, but i don't think he should avoid sam peter. if he ever wants to fight wladimir klitschko he might aswell get used to the idea of fighting a guy who can hit hard and use the peter fight to work on footwork and head movement (not that peter will push him too hard)

I was excited by how fast he moved up in the ranks, but thanks to his inactivity I am no longer interested.

No IBF offered. Sauerland wants an Interim-fight for Povetkin. Bul**** from Sauerland nothing else. The IBF did not get it and now Povetkin will fight on the undercard from Huck at 5th December.

the guy has it in first gear....i mean people dont want him to be "rushed" into a fight with the klitschkos....but he got his gold medal in summer of 2004....its almost 2010!
holyfield won a bronze in 1984, fought for world title in summer of 1986
same goes for alot of the guys from 84,88
bowe got a silver in 88, had 30 fights and fought holyfield in 1992
    i could go on....
who knows what his problem is.....but he must not like to fight and make money

Amateur boxing and professional boxing are different things. Povetkin changes too late his trainer to work on things you need in professional boxing.

At the beginning of his prof. career he fights like an amateur and he was in with guys who cannot hit that hard. Now he realizes that a fight against a hard puncher is a different story.

He now has wanaba boxing commisioner and half-assed trainer Teddy Atlas feeding him bull**** everyday, maybe he's contemplating suicide by now.
