Right now, Povetkin is the odd man out in what is otherwise probably the tallest group of top active HW's in history. Fury, Wlad, Povetkin, Pulev, Ortiz and Wilder are usually considered to be the best of the best, with Joshua and Parker considered the best prospects. All are 6'4 or above except Povetkin, at 6'2. He's still tall by normal person standards, and average historically for HW, but short for modern era HW's. Wilder's probably the least respected of that bunch, at least on the blogs. And he's probably (hopefully) going to face Povetkin sometime next year. So, if the least respected guy bounces the guy who is arguably the most respected guy on these blogs, does it totally destroy any remaining argument that height is not a huge asset among top HW's and that past era guys (many of whom relied on their height and size advantage) who were much shorter could stand a chance against today's giants?
Tyson flattened all the huge fighters f the time. its never been a about size alone, size is just one attribute amongst many. end of thread.
He has NO hope vs Wilder Joshua ortiz furyou and I mean NO hope of winning a round. I'd put money on jennings beating him in a very good fight. I couldn't care less what the clueless people that think he has a legitimate chance. He might end fighting jennings just for the money after getting laid out by wilder. I seriously would put good coin on a jennings with both by ud and by tko. I'm winning one of them. Chambers had him badly hurt and that was a fat lazy chambers that ran out of steam.. Jennings should take him as a tuneup if he's not brain dead from dw
