Is Prime GGG the least likely fighter ever to get dominated in a fight?

Well if a 21yo SRR who had been fighting less than 2 1/2 years and was 3 years and 10 months years short of the world welterweight title could be dropped while weighing 144 1/2 against LaMotta's 160 1/2 we better make sure he's in the "not the strongest" chin category. Particularly given LaMotta (Ring rated #7 at 160) put every atom of his being into the punch.

Lol nobody is impossible to knockout.

Also Roy Jones Jr would dominate GGG at middleweight.

It's like people forget that Ray gave up massive weight to meet La Motta. La Motta was a much bigger and stronger man and Ray still took the series.

He wouldn't have known it to forget i reckon. You have to take the simple facts into account, surely.

    That's a point.

You can never question the chin of a man with a record like Ray's, especially when he's fighting a much larger man. Often, surviving a much larger man's best Sunday punch is testament to his durability e.g. Chris Eubank Vs Carl Thompson.

I’d favor him over quite a few…haggler would probably get him. As would Monzon, SRR, Tony, Roy, Maybe Lamotta and Fullmer, and it’s possible for Ketchal Papke and Greb, other than that I can’t think of to many others

He was down a bit but never kept down. When you look at the length of time he fought and the quality of his resume even when well past his best it's pretty awe inspiring.

High out-put and fast guys like Roy Jones would dominate Golovkin. Canelo's stamina issues let him down vs GGG but in the rounds he went all out GGG was punched into a crab shell. Golovkin knows he is too slow and too open to attack with Roy Jones. The same applies to Hagler and Sugar Ray

Well in his prime George Foreman, Pernell Whitaker, Vitali Klitschko all lost in their primes but they weren't dominated. But that doesn't mean they couldn't be. Every fighter can be dominated by the right opponent or if they just have a off night.

Jake LaMotta the guy who lost 30 times in his career would beat GGG? Also why do guys like you love to live in this fantasy world where every fighter from back in the day could beat a modern fighter when none would. It is pretty funny how guys like you can't grasp boxing has evolved. Harry Greb, Stanley Ketchel and Papke wouldn't even be considered amateurs today with their primitive style. GGG would knock each these guys out cold in the 1st round. The only people you mention who could beat GGG would be Marvin Hagler and Roy Jones Jr.

Well if you’re trying to nit pick and pick apart Robinson’s chin fragility in a career when he was never stopped due to that in almost 200 fights, then the best of luck with that.

I talked to him briefly the other day. He's still hanging in there. He comments on the sport still, but much of the time it's on Facebook.

Canelo with first fight strategy but being more active. He could win by a phenomenal performance but he was just too inactive.

Canelo with second fight strategy with more footwork. He outworked GGG and was more versatile but he ate some serious punches and got buzzled.

These strategies are effective on any GGG version.
