Is Primo really less skilled then Vitali?

    does Primo really look less skilled then these guys?

    I was always on the side of modern big men are more skilled but it may just be foggy memories of not so long ago.

    Vitali`s punch technique was far better, Primo wouldn`t have had the skill to land much on Lewis before being sparked easily.

    Carnera might have been more versatile!

    Oh I definitely think Vitali had better qualities. But raw skill. I’m gonna say it. Primo isn’t far off. I’d even go as far to say primos footwork was better. Vitali had the better 1,2 and more power and chin

    I watched Vitali v Briggs today for the hell of it and was taken back at how bad Vitali looks lol. I also remember Lewis fight but I took that as he was tired. I don’t remember them being so clumsy and bad defense. Will have to rewatch some more Vitali fights.

    No way, Carnera didn’t know how to throw lead hooks and he didn’t set his feet up in the right way when using his jab to set up right hands and didn’t really know how to set up punches anyway

    Primo didn’t have a good one two. But Vitali had plenty of flaws himself

    None worse than Carnera, yes he got hit, but Carnera was stiff as a board and he got hit with all kinds of punches off Baer which most would see coming

    Vitaly was old by then and he still won every round and badly beat on Biggs. No Carnera isn't comparable.
