Naz said like 3 different reasons why he reitred1. he said he wanted to practice his faith, 2. spend more time with his family, 3 his hands. but i saw an interview with his brother / manager basically saying "were minted screw the fight game".

In boxing only a few fighter have natural finishing and Naz was a natural finisher... I think the money took away his instincts.

Way over-hyped. Got exposed against the first top grade fighter in their prime that he fought.

Let me educate you little one,

ever heard of Jimmy Wilde? this is the greatest British boxer of all time, he was from Wales , and I think that is part of Britain?

Secondly Greatest Featherweight of all time , clearly I would say you have you need to have some more homework, ahead of Henry Armstrong , and Willie Pep. Now no matter how focused Hamed was , he wasnt cut from the same Cloth.

    Here endeth the lesson

    Jimmy Wilde - ATG

Naz could have been an ATG if he would have avenged the MAB defeat and kept his career going for 5 more years - but he didn't.

ia gree jimmy wilde was the greatest brit but naz wasnt far off.

Naz the greatest showman that the game has seen. bold statement i know but **** it , the guy was comical. atleast his arrogance was funny.

I didn't like Naz all that much, but when he did talk **** he always backed it up, and he looked good doing it, you know a guy is good when he taunts them before he KO's them

Naz is slighty behind Calzage, because Calzaghe got a SD win against the only great fighter he faced (Hopkins), whereas Naz lost badly to the only great fighter he faced (Barrera). Both Calzaghe and Naz are well behind Lewis as the best British fighter from the modern era.

Well, most guys do get "exposed" when they fight legends such as Barrera

Naz did not loose badly to MAB Naz was trying to show off to the crowed and MAB counter punched. He just went in with the wrong game plan.

i liked him alot but i never knew if he was ever serious with his ****, did he know that alot of his taunts were embarassingly funny. like when he first started out u see him running around the ring with a big terban or whatever u call them arabs who wears them and he looked ridiculas , u see all the men in suits sat at the front just laughing thier heads off cus he looked like a twat. but that was what i liked about him, he made himself looked like a twat n he didnt care.

    :rofl:rofl

"exposed"...bloody hell!! He faced a prime atg and that exposed him?!

If hamed had stayed with the ingles instead of jumping ship and acting like a clown i think he would have taken barrera to the wire.

    all ifs and buts
