is prince naseem the most underated fighter?

Underrated by whom though? I think that with a question like that you have to be specific - where do you think he should be rated, or pick a rating by some organisation, magazine, etc and then how is he viewed in relation that. Otherwise it's just a he's overrated by some and underrated by others.

There are lots of fighters who are seriously underrated.

Not wanting to go off the topic at hand, but he decisioned McCullough fairly clearly because if it were not for his sadistic greedy wife, the very ring rusty Wayne, who was coming up in weight, would never have been in there. Add to the fact she had him get rid off his manager, and two main trainers.

Naseem was like Rolly Romero and I think Garcia is better than Naz was.

 

The guy had massive hype in his pomp. By virtue of that he most definitely wasn’t underrated.

He was a great puncher but also about half as good a fighter as he thought he was. He got a whole lot less dominant as soon as his opposition picked up in quality.

Plus he was a nauseating narcissist. Common in boxing but he really ran with it.

 

I think you're out of your goddamn mind Mark.

 

He was a mess that knocked out lesser fighters, he had natural talent but his fundamentals would always get him beat by a world class fighter.

 

I have always made this statement. While we are at it, let us throw in his puny boxing IQ as well.
