Don't get me wrong, the fighters are still athletes and excellent sportsmen, but IMO boxing has become so corrupt that it's theatre at the top level. These guys literally can't lose.

Feel bad for Ryder, he was probably expecting it like the rest of us.

****'s like an exploitative WWE with everything stacked for the home town favorite.

Yes todays boxing is bordering on corrupt or worse without a doubt, however sadly our sport has a long history of corruption, unfairness, mob control etc etc so it sure not a new phenomenon.

However today with the ease of watching fights and the immediacy of information sharing we can all be keyboard judge and juries on such matters.

We always have been, they get forgotten to the annals of history all the same. Boxing needs an overhaul.

I don't remember it being as bad as it is today in the age of the cash cow.

Andy Lee should be ashamed. He was on the end of some bad decisions.... nothing on the scale of tonight though.

I cannot agree that our sport has not been as bad as it is today, as boxing history tells us differently.

However that was then and this is now, we can't change the past just deal with the present and future, and so i agree something has to be done urgently.

Justified complaints regarding fight results are now the norm, that is not and cannot be good for our sport.

it's mostly honest, up until the upper tier. or depending on who's controlling the event. do these sorts of blatant robberies really happen all that often considering the scope of matches that occur, or are we all just really incensed about it in the heat of the moment and over-exaggerating? actual question.

Boxing has always been this corrupt.

Go back and watch some of the fights from the 60s, 70s or 80s. Or listen to some podcasts of the old timers.

It isn’t anymore corrupt today than it was before.

Corrupt to the core...the results are known before the event has finished...Money and the Manipulating of fights are destroying our once Great Sport.!!!
