Is Puerto Rico The Professional Cuba?

    Elaborate a little bit.
    If you are talking in terms of accomplishments...then no, I dont think Puerto Rico is the professional Cuba. Cuba usually dominates international competitions in the amatuer ranks, along with Russia and a few of the former Soviet countries. Puerto Rico has some good and great professionals, but they do not dominate like Cuba does in the amatuers.
    You have Cotto, Quintana, Calderon, and a couple others. Puerto Rico has had some great past but I dont think they compare to Cuba in terms of accomplishments.

    well as of today there are 3 welterweight champions all puerto rican Cintron, Cotto , and Quintana ...with Floyd being the other champ.

    yes cuba dominates in amatuer competition but remember that their amatuers have long long ametuer careers. that most people would look at as pro in terms of experience. for ages puerto rico has proved it produces high quality fighters on the professional level.
