Is punching power proof of physical strength

    my example is Pernel Whitaker...He was pushing a young DLH around in their fight although he was not a big puncher himself.

    Except for George Foreman, he was as strong as a big puncher himself

    punching power is a indicator of physical strength but just because you have good strength doesn't mean you'll have good punching power.

    And on the other side, dont get fooled by fighters who ran alot in the ring( no disrespect to scientific boxers) ...some have great physical strength e.q. PBF, SRL...

    it is a little about strength and ALOT about technique...snap, leg drive etc.
