    I hate to say it but this is one stereotype which is definitely true. That's where I think this fierce rivalry between Puerto Rican fighters and Mexican ones stems from - they're polar opposites. Mexican fighters are renowned for being iron-jawed warriors with a lot of pride, machismo and heart who will fight through adversity right up until the bitter end, whereas Rican ones are essentially known throughout the world for being front runners and quitters who can dish it out real good but 9 times out of 10 will take a knee and look for an exit door to duck out of as soon as the going starts to get too tough.

    Defintely. Quitting is deeply ingrained in ricans brain, it's a genetic thing at this point.

    Remember, their entire country took a knee to the U.S.A, and they practically live on their knees, dominated by the yanks. They have been a colony for many decades and they've been unable to produce a Fidel Castro, someone that can lead them to freedom. Cuba got rid of the yank paws, they were once a yank colony too, used as brothel by muricans with their people treated as 2nd class citizens, like current ricans.

    but...my guess is the yanks learned their lesson with Cuba, so they've taken measures with ricans, probably for decades. I wouldn't be surprised if they put drugs on rican food or fluoridate the water, one thing's for sure, yanks have a heavy influence on prican education, they shape their minds from an early age to make them submissive, easy to control for imperialism, etc. Maybe that's one of the reasons they're prone to quitting when the going gets tough in the ring.
