    Do you agree with his promoter? He is now a two weight champion!

    Frank ****** is backing the mild-mannered Scot to overcome "The Hitman".
    "I think he is the Clark Kent of boxing. Once he gets in the ring, he becomes Superman," said the promoter.
    "Outside the ring, he is a lovely guy. “This guy should be a British sporting hero, not just a Scottish hero”

    "I really do feel, and obviously he has to win this fight, Ricky can go on and join me in becoming a member of the hall of fame. That's how good a fighter I think Ricky can be."

    I think so, burns is class, I can remember watching him fight on setanta with blonde hair and thinkin this could go far, he's proved a **** load of doubters wrong and I think if he can stop Moses tomorrow night then surely the big fights in America are next? Speed and work rate seem to be his bread and butter at the moment and I reckon he has the ability to beat anyone in his division, I just hope he stays knuckled down, unify's and doesn't retire to early as he really is a joy to watch.

    Sorry to say this but he has more chance of being Inducted into a Hall of Mirrors than the Boxing Hall of Fame:deal

    Burns relies on solid fundamentals & technique but isnt exceptional in any particular aspect, as he moves up in weight he will be faced with guys with superior power, speed & strength.

    He is well conditioned & brave but against the very best I think he might come up short.

    This isn't really on topic but I have only really watched Burn's recent fights and have been impressed with Burns but I am wondering what are the main improvements/ how he changed his style to become a world class fighter. Probably should watch his earlier fights to see for myself, mainly the fights that he got beat and compare them to now but I am wondering what you think the difference is between now and then.

    No where near yet. He needs to fight better boxers. He has beat no HOFer's, he isn't even a legit 2 weight champion and has been beaten twice at domestic level. He is in desperate need of a step up of opponent. katsidis and Martinez were good wins that put him in the world level picture but to be a hall of famer he actually has to beat people in the top five of his division consistently
