Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting Broner is a mega PPV star or anything.

Rightly or wrongly, America is the place to get recognised & Broner represents the opportunity for Burns to obtain that. Ricky has such a fan freindly style, you know the American networks will love him.

I just hope he gets another shot, I really do.

Err, lets not bother......Besides, rumours on the grapevine would suggest that when Operation Elveden gets round to him he might have to come back to good old Blighty whether he likes it or not :hey

Absolutely....You've also got to take into account the "Ponce" factor, something that a large number of posters on here are very familiar with. Burns knows full well that if he goes to America to fight Golden Boys Golden Boy he will likely have to KO Broner to get a draw and this has to be factored into any purse demand.... a robbery has to pay well. The Ponce fight shows that Burns or Rees will have to put on a Pep like masterclass even to get a sniff of getting the nod.

The race of the bummer would largely depend in which prison he ends up in :yep

Your a champion you fight the best or else vacate the title, lets be honest Broner will paste Rees and then HBO will want Broner in a big fight with Gamboa or an american fighter, they wont want another European fighter that most americans wont have seen,Ricky missed the boat..

Hopefully it's someone with a banger like a lamp post, who inflicts life ending injuries on him.

His career is being ruined. He has good wins but people will look back on it and murder his legacy over the time lost.

Defining win at 130 followed by 3 disgraceful title defences.
Defining win at 135 followed by a decent defence and then 2 horrible title defences (one of which thankfully didn't happen).

I bet *****s really angry that theres no where to go at 140 citing trouble making weight. Rickys in the perfect division, should he lose to Broner then he can easily make a run at Vasquez and come again. If he wins, its huge.

Brook was enroot to mandatory position for ibf, a matter of months away, Why turn off down a dodgy road with Bradley and options, mandatory means fight the winner of Devon/Bailey , with no body having any options on your next fight's, Ie Walk away world champ with no one pulling your strings, Brook may still fight a unification with Bradley ( if he wins Devon) this time with no options. We know Brooks path.

You haven't answered Macho-grand question by the way.... We all knew Brook's path, what's Ricky's? ( road sweepers or super star )

At the end of the day ... Burns needs to tell FW that he wants the big fights and not accept inferior opponents to line FW pockets.

Im a big fan of Burns but he will lose some respect if he just sits back and allows his career to stagnate.

My guess would be that many are uneducated **** ends, and they believe that because he is arrogant and black he has to be good.

Yep that's spot on.... Whenever I'm looking for the next big thing. The first thing I look for is black skin & arrogance :patsch

Did I mention you? No, so chill the **** out man.

I said many believe this slick and black ****, many get hard ons because he once asked his dad to comb his hair, because he is being made out to be the next Mayweather, many people take it for gospel without properly watching him fight.
