Is Ricky burns terrified of Adrian broner?

Ricky is a smiling assasin though, thats what I liked about him in the build up to & during the Mitchell fight, he walks the nice walk & talks the nice talk, but underneath he seems to be smouldering, you can see in his eyes that he is a different man from the one who beat Rocky Martinez.

Its strange, but I get grief from my fellow jocks here cos Im a scotty nuthugger, its like they think I hate Burns cos I love Scotty! No wonder Im a lone wolf.

 

If Burns is so far out of the agenda, why is his name one of the first to come up...

I'm sure that unlike some of the posters on here and the general,Team Broner actually know a bit about the problems of making weight when you're too big and are well aware that it would've been madness for Ricky to go in with a top guy like Broner when he's struggling badly to boil down.
Yep.Sure they'll know a thing or three about that,regardless of hype and spin.

 

Why would he fight Broner, a fight that most people think he would lose, when he can continue to sell out Braehead Arena having 'world' title fights against British title level opponents?
