    I was thinking.............

is hatton the type of fighter that junior jones was to berrara, Vernon Forrest was to Mosely and Iran Barkley was to Thomas hearns. He has the style to beat a specific pound for pound champions but is very beatable and looses to all other elites/top tier fighter or am i being a tosser and underrating his true abilities,

I think Pac would knock Mayweather out. I thought Oscar beat Mayweather. Castillo beat Mayweather in the first fight, but the judges were the best money can buy. A rematch was ordered because of all the complaints.

he got utterly destroyed, like noone else did by Pac. And when was the last time PBF knocked someone out like that?
so this 'no shame in losing to to the p4p best' line is a load of bollocks, especially after all the hype, and talking Wicky did.

Hatton tried to cut corners and manouvred himself, with the help of a fake persona and an army of clueless fans, into a position where he was 1 fight away from being the p4p best in his eyes and anyone else who knows **** all about the sport. He thought there wasn't much to lose in those fights, but got done so badly that even many of his huggers admit he was massively overhyped and overrated from day 1.

Hatton stepped up when the mega bucks were offered. Hatton loses to any elite fighter but should be proud of being the king of the guys a step below.

On the evidence so far you are absolutely 100% correct.

He beat Tszyu, who had already been outmuscled and pressured by Vince Phillips. Hatton used a similar, or even rougher gameplan and did a great job.

Then he got whooped by Pac and Mayweather as we know.

We'd probably need a bigger sample of elite fighters, and not just the absolute best in the sport to make a definitive conclusion. It seems he probably wouldn't ever fair well with elite fighters with speed judging by the Collazo fight also.

Same could be said of pac. When was the last time he knocked someone at world level like that ? Hattons punch resistance has gone, and as good as the ko punch was, i think hatton takes it a few year ago, but would lose later
