No, his former opponents' exploits cannot erase the fact he lost embarassingly against a former flyweight. But he needs not worry because he is in good company w/ Oscar. Misery breeds company, they say.

They have same thing in common: losing to two #1 P4P fighters : Pac and Floyd.

You can say what you want but Ricky is a fighter who gives it his best and is not afraid to go out on his shield. He also seems like a really genuine nice person.

Well said. He only came up short twice against the two best fighters in the game today. Hard to knock a guy for that.

Who thought Diaz would look like the loser against Malignaggi?, this proves Hatton is no joke.

The fans who consider Hatton a joke for losing the way he did are newbies, nothing else. Duran lost the same way, Hearns, Frazier, Lennox Lewis and many others, it's not the end of the world and not the first time it happens, it happened to ATG fighters. Hatton didn't get a chance to apply ANY strategy, he was overpowered and early, he just blown out and didn't get a chance to apply anything. That's normal and definitely not the first time it happens to any fighter as mentioned already. If Hatton is still mentally into it he can keep going, I wouldn't consider him finished because of that loss, fans in boxing tend to overreact when things like that happen but eventually cool down as time goes.

Hatton has a decent resume and only a hater would say otherwise. Had he delivered the goods versus Floyd I dont doubt he would have then chased after fights with cotto and the other top names.
