Absolutely not. I love Hatton, but he isn't a HOF'er whatsoever and anyone who argues are dumb as hell. He arguably lost to Collazo (IMO he did lose) and he was exposed by Mayweather and Pacquiao...in a brutal fashion. He doesn't have any real very good wins other than his great win over Tszyu.
Ricky gets in. Im actually confident it will be 1st ballot as well. He was well known and had a very good career. No shame in losing to Floyd and Pac.
2 weight world champion and there has never been or will never be again any fighter that brings such a following with him!!
While I won't argue he doesn't have great wins, and had he not been as popular as he was he might not get in, I wouldn't really call it getting exposed by Mayweather and Pacquiao. They were the 2 best p4p fighters in the world. Nobody else was beating them either. They're both ATGs. He was at the top of his division for a good stretch.
Him not proving to be the best in uk at lww and his satisfaction at not wanting fellow boxers to be paid well should hamper it Imo horrible cu NT by many accounts
Hamed was a very good boxer, his style was unlike anyone else and it broke so many rules in the book, but yet allowed him to reach great heights. He also was arguably the best puncher ever (Manny Steward himself stated he hit like a middleweight and pound-for-pound was the biggest puncher he ever trained). He knocked out and danced around his very good opponents, and was in memorable fights. Past prime Hamed loses to Barrera and everyone starts to get mad. Hamed also had star quality which is a factor in HOF inductions. He paved the way for Floyd Mayweather by bringing big money back into the smaller divisions, single handedly. He was a very charismatic figure.
