No they went to court over unpaid wages i don't think they get back to the good times where they was close or at least Billy felt they was..

Not sure they settled out of court on the day Hatton was supposed to go to court for unpaid wages to Billy, I doubt they speak now, wonder how much Ricky paid Billy in the end?

Ricky has done well with that then cos I was sure he said he didnt get paid for the Last fight they had together either. I thought he wanted 10% of everything so 500k Ricky has nto done to bad for two fights he probably made 15-20 million.

i always thought ricky would have a farewell fight in manchester with graham in his corner to end things how they started & end any bad feelings they had...

I think the idea was that Graham was paid on a 10% level which for a fighter of Hattons pulling power was a bit unusual as a trainer would be on about 100k set fee per fight.

I think it was for the Lazcano fight that he wasnt paid for so 500k was a decent result for Graham tbh imo. He is probably fairly well off if he was earning 10% on all HAttons fights.

yep buy life doesn't have a fairytale ending
by watching hbo 24/7 you'd think that they were inseparable considering how young ricky was when he joined him

i think trainers getting 10% goes out the window when they get the really big bucks and just work for a set fee

It obviously does.... but really it ought to be agreed prior to the fight.

Clearly Hatton and Graham had a relationship where a contract wasn't really necessary..... if Hatton had beaten Floyd I'm sure Graham would have gotten his 10% as per.

Hatton blamed Graham for the defeat and his crap showing against Lazcano and didn't want to pay up.... Hatton was right not to want to pay 10% and Graham was right to sue him over it. Obviously like mature adults they agreed a compromise and walked away.
