and no one wants to watch the fool fight either.

I dont watch much of rigo, only highlights cos I think his defense is great and it's a beuty to watch, but oh my when I saw the Jazza fight I realized how boring he was.

I love watching boxing, I love mayweather fights, but man that was a new level of boredom.

HBO blackb@lled dude right out of US TV stations & the top 10/P4P (invented) rankings.
    [Because he beat Donaire.]

He might be boring to watch for some... but MoFo is pretty fuggin' tough to compete against inside that ring.

He was well on track to being P4P elite after the Donaire fight until the unfortunate combo of being blackballed and the lackluster follow-up performances put him out of the limelight.

Shame he hasn't been able to land big fights since then. The talent and skill is legit.

IDK, I've not been impressed with Rigo lately to be honest, in his last two fights he's looked less than stellar. I think he may be past his peak now.

Jezza fight was quality entertainment compared to the one prior to it.

Not because he beat Donaire. Because he was boring, got **** ratings, couldn't sell tickets, and his management/promotion is completely insane and won't work with anybody. It ain't Arum or HBO's fault that Rigo wasn't on US tv for awhile. He could have gone across the street to Showtime if that were true. He could have talked to Haymon and gotten on PBC, CBS, or ESPN.

He beat Donaire and was poised to be a huge star, and then he ****ed it up and refused to sign contracts, fight opponents, etc. Just like Andre Ward after the Super Six, or Mikey Garcia.

HBO didn't blackball him after he beat Donaire. Donaire disappeared from tv after he lost to Rigo and Walters too. He had a fight in the Philippines that wasn't even televised. Since then, Donaire's been fighting for peanuts on second or third rate television outlets.
