Is Rios better than Maidana?

    If he is, that is even more bad news for a Floyd v. Manny fight because Manny straight clowned Rios while Floyd had issues with a guy that was beaten by Kotelnik. The fight had Jones v. Tarver I written all over it and it didn't end well for Roy after that. Rios with a better chin and punch may have an edge on Marcos.

    I think maidana is more explosive but rios has way better stamina.

    How so? they would be trading shots. It's not like chino is some ****in wizard. They fight exactly the same.

    rios is better has a better chin never been down and has more power i would put ruslan and rios at the same level

    Maidana is a world class Brawler. Rios is not. if Manny fought Maidana, he would of lost rounds too.

    Same with JMM, only if he was not roided up.

    Rios likes bingeing on coke and booze in between fights, that's what separates him and maidana. He's young and wild and that keeps him from reaching his peak.

    I think Maidana has more skill. Both are exciting though. They've sparred before and rumors are it was a war. I think there is footage somewhere...

    Maidana has made a career of exposing guys like Rios.

    Could Rios test Ortiz, Collazo or Lopez? You've gotta think Porter, Thurman and Maidana easily handle Brandon. Who would you honestly favour over him at the top end of the welterweight division? Khan? Brook? Bradley? JMM? Nope.
