No way. Too big, too strong, too relentless, great chin, doesn't care to take 2 or 3 to land one of his own..... He's also got pretty good boxing skills he jabbed his way in very well his only flaw really is his defense because he doesn't have one besides his chin.

Well if he wasn't taking the weight off right and just starving himself then I guess staying at 135 wouldn't be a bad move.... But if he has a hard time like against Mitchell he has to move up. He's big and strong enough to beat anyone at 140.

I'd pick Maidana over Rios @ 140. I see Kahn outboxing Rios aswell.

Yea, of course. I still think he should move up soon, but they should at least try and see where the diet can get him. He says he feels good and is happy the way things are going, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Maidana no way. Rios is better then him in every way there is nothing Maidana does better then Rios and Rios ain't gonna ***** out like Ortiz..... Imagine Rios-Antilon except Maidana takes a better punch but throws slower and wider.

Kham COULD outbox him but seeing how he handle pressure chances are Rios runs him down and KO's him in the mid to late rounds. Rios hits harder the Peterson and is way better at getting inside Khan would **** himself.

gamboa can beat most guys if he dedicates himself to defense. I'm talking, truly dedicate himself. he's shown that he can box in recent fights but If he chose to seriously work to become a better defender, I think he could beat guys like rios. I dont think his current defense can cut it for a long reign among the bigger elite guys.

Gamboa is really really really short. He doesn't look that heavy to me "overall", he's just thick set for his height - yeah, Rios is much much bigger framed if he struggles to make weight at his age. You need to see Gamboa next to a welterweight to see how small he really is. He's muscular and even has some fat, but he probably doesn't weigh very much at all even out of shape.

Rios will beat gamboa if they fight and it wont be because he's too big.

thing with gamboa is his reach, he has short arms. But Rios doesnt have a jab, gamboa will get inside pretty easy.I dont know, a drained Rios can find himself in trouble with gamboa.

:lol:The first knock down that Rios had against Acosta was from the jab that Rios does not have.

Gamboa is weighing between 150-155lb right now, FYI... He is huge no matter his size. He's one of the only featherweights that arrives in the ring at 140lb. He'll have absolutely no problem with 135lb. I guess he will arrive in the ring between 145-147 if he fights in lightweight.
