key word from roach " at the right weight" anotha catch weight that marvilla will have problems making.hope he aint dumb enough to go for the gwalla and come in weight drained like the last 3.if so manny is the mw champ of the world, next super 6 winner at 160.

Martinez was not the fighter he is now, then. Williams was so overrated he beat Margo when he was at his absolute very best he had ever been. Cement fist and all, probably.

there should not be a catchweight just make it at 154 for manny's belt. no 155 for middle or below that.

Pac doesn't have anything to prove anymore... and agreeing to 154 just to accomodate Martinez doesn't make any sense for him at this time.

... for 155, there's at least the MW title.

so i guess fighting at 154 for a 154 title is accomadating him?
didnt he just win a 154 title fighting at 150? maybe he should defend it at 147?!?!

We all know Roach will insist for Martinez to drain himself. It will be a pointless fight at something stupid like 151lbs if it ever happens and as such will prove nothing for Pacquiao to win... but the masses would nevertheless be fooled into thinking Pacquiao dominated a Middleweight dynamo.

Martinez said he could do it at 155. If they were to fight,(which I doubt) it should be at 155 , with Martinez's MW belt on the line. This is a bad fight for Paq. Besides I dont want to see another fight at a catchweight. He should stay at 147 .

I'm pretty sure he'll want Sergio to be at 150 or less. But if it's at least 154, I would have to give Roach all the credit he deserves. And no, he is not crazy to request for Sergio. If Pac is so far ahead of everyone at 147, it makes perfect sense for him to find a challenge at a bigger but reasonable weight class. It's about time Team Pac does something good for the sport and not just aim to line up their pockets. It get a lot of hate for criticizing them. But it's simple: Just give me a fight between two of the top P4P guys and you'll get full credit. I just feel if you're an A-lister, there's no reason for you to fight a C-lister (or worse) unless you've been retired for an extensive period and need a tune-up fight.

No middleweight belt on the line in my book. If you want the middle weight belt fight at the weight.

I have nothing against catch weights in order to provide a spectical. I have everything against the way arum/roach/pac are degrading and therefore misleading.

At the right weight this is definitely the best fight out there for pac at the minute. However i dont give into this weight drain bull****. these are professional fighters with professional nutritionists, conditioning coaches, trainers..etc. When a fighter is given ample time to train losing a few pounds is nothing for these guys. the fighters don't complain so i dont see why people on here go on and on and on about it. it gets boring!!

@ 154 i hope it can happen. I rather see this fight than a pac vs marquez or pac vs mosley.
