I don't know, if Fury can uppercut himself and survive. Surely its a testament to his greatness.....:huh

No reason to rush this guy, he's probably the youngest or one of the youngest top HW's. I would like to see him fight Povetkin next but I doubt it happens. Helenius is raw, he can be a slow starter but he has the magic eraser. I'd like to see him take 3-4 more fights against good journeymen and then if he does well he should be in line for a shot at a title by then, another year or two and if they work him right and get him in top shape he could be the champ in my opinion. His biggest weakness to me is his conditioning, that soft middle makes me think he balloons up between fights too much, that's a good way to shorten a career.

You go and nail it with your percentage predictions, then you say he shoud fight Chagaev, Dimi and Ibragimov as if the above fighters were that much better.

Chagaev would give this boy fits, and I don't know if Robbe could find Ibragimov.
Grant, is getting up there, and can be outworked has shown a resilient chin as of late, and still has more KO power than any in that list.

I agree his next fight should be a farewell party to Rock. Rahman had given us some memorable fights in the late 90s, but each time after an L, he fights 5 outside the top 50 and gets another title shot. He's aiming to do it one last time, and while Helenius is definitely top 15 in everyones ratings, the Rock should still have to fight him if he's gonna get another crack at a strap.

I pick Helenius to stop the Rock inside 10.

Good thread ANUT. I really need to see Helenius get back in there soon. He showed a resilient chin v Peter, and I think he beats most the guys on that list except Chambers who would decision him.

    Good take.

Except Robbe doesn't balloon up between fights. He just seems to refuse to fast during training. He is holding water downstairs, and if I were his camp, I'd address that as well. Tighting that midsection, build that upper body, fight a bum, then go right after Rock, followed by Dimi, followed by Vitali or the fake WBA champ.

he didnt look good his last fight. seems like he didnt train properly, plus, they say he injured his hand again in the fight. as long as he moves along nicely, he will be fine. definitely they shouldnt rush him

I think Chagaev style wise is taylor made for Helenius, a good fighter but he will just be coming in straight lines vs Robert and would always be out of reach, Helenius would KO him I think, Chagaev didn't look great in his last fight by any stretch of the imagination. Would be another great win to have on the cv of course beating another ex World champion.

I should have stated that I meant Timur Ibragimov in my last post, he should win that easily enough.

Dimitrenko again to me looks taylor made for Helenius, he is basically a poor mans Helenius without the monster KO power, would be to unify the European titles so there is a lot of reward in this and of course big money to be made.

As long as he stays away from durable technical boxers with speed he should be okay while he improves over the next few years.

Povetkin is not really young. Not mention that he's been jerking us around so long its hard to see him as a legit threat to any of the top five heavies anymore.

I think Atlast knows his limitatoins, and realizes Povetkin would get thrashed if he were to fight for any of the titles..

So I'd say the best of the young, up and comers would be Helenius or Boystov.

now a tune up fight is perhaps acceptable but after that he should step up and get a decent fight.

And my not so objective opinion is he is/will be the best of those guys.
