I'm happy to see an MMA fighter who appreciates boxing. I trained in boxing at one point but enjoy watching boxing more(like with you, it's closer to my heart. I grew up with it) That's why the stupid comment one guy made on last night's The Ultimate Fighter to motivate his teammates: "You better give it your all or you'll end up in boxing" pissed me off. A large amount of MMA fighters don't have enough boxing skill to find immediate success in boxing without lots of refining. I think Helenius should avoid Eddie Chambers for 3 more fights(especially after what he did to Dimitrenko....and no Robert is not equal to Wlad) and Arreola is a pick'em fight especially if Arreola comes in weighing under 240 lbs. If he loses his discipline against Arreola and slugs too much he'll get taken out(similar to Travis Walker but later in the fight because his chin is far better than Walker's)
Most of those guys can't even throw a jab! Boxing is harder, both to train and to fight. I want to get a couple more boxing fights, my brother is a up and coming boxer to look out for in the light heavy division, we might try to fight on the same card soon. Boxing any day over MMA!
Welll thats ok your excused for getting your panties in a bunch since hes your only real fighter of note to come out of Finland.
Well you are right about that anarci:yep:good The Swedens are now trying to take him as their own saying Helenius is Part Swedish because he was born at Sweden And his dad Shoot Spern load to Swedish Woman.atsch
Helenius is overrated by you all. He would lose agisnt povetkin, Boytsov and adamek. He has a slim chance agaiinst Arreola and Solis and Chambers will be the only sure win for him.
Whereas I like Boytsov, he has not accomplished anthing near what Helenius has accomplished yet. His best win is Bidenko who who Helelnius beat and then escalated from. Boytsov needs to worry about getting his hand healthy and taking on a couple of contenders- hope he does. Povetkin could have been a hell of a fighter, and still could be, but until we see evidence that he has overcome the fragile emotional state that has caused him to loose three prime years of his career, I will go with Helenius. Adamek is a great fighter, but not a true heavyweight. I wouldn't pick against someone as tough as Adamek, but Helenius has all the physical attributes Adamek lacks. No one is overrating Helenius beacuse he has earned his rating by beating two former heavyweight titleists (Brewster, Peter), two former contenders (Levin, Bidentko), two of the best journeymen in the business (Gammer, Olukun), and a fellow undefeated prospect (Greg Toney). None of the men you mentioned above can say that. Hw would most likely put real hurt on a fat **** like Solis or Arreola.
I don't agree that he's overhyped, yes he would lose to Holyfield but so would haye and adamek. Helenius would easily beat Arreola and Boytsov, Solis.
No way hombre. Helenius will knock out all of them and easily. Those punches what he'll hit Peter even in the first round would get knocked out all other fighters except Vitali
Glazkov Pulev Helenius Boytsov second tier guys who could prove to be capable at top level: Pala Abdulsalamov
I can promise you if they fight to night Helenius would be easily best fighter. In the future i don't know how much Glazkov can prove, but i'm little skeptic about that
cubans Luis Ortiz and Mike Perez. Ortiz is not young but on the way up in an impressing way. Also Giant british boys Fury,Towers,Dallas and Price all unbeaten 2 meter men
