Agreed. A prime SRL beats any version of Camacho every time. Leonard was another great who didn't know when to call it a day. He should've stayed retired after that third Duran fight. It could even be argued that he should've retired after the Hagler fight.
I swear i remember SRL losing to Pernell Whitaker in 1990. WTF?!! I just took a look at SRL's resume and it says they never fought!!? I have a vivid memory of that fight! I remember every round. I even have a memory of watching it more than once on my dvd collection. I could've swore it happened! That is freakin weird!
Dudes, i'm not even kidding around! I have the memory of that fight as clear as day! Whitaker won by TKO in the 9th, he hurt Leonard's eye bad in that fight.
I agree. Ray did not understand that you have to put time into boxing to keep fighting. He could fight Hagler and beat him because he was younger, but Hearns and Duran were the only ones of the fab 4 who had wins in their 40s. But also were willing to have normal careers and stay active.
