I agree with Sweet_Scientist; in terms of ability, Marcel and Benitez are even. Different, but even.

I similarly dislike that pigeonholing, but hey, that's a salty whiny little Addie for ya.

Probably a bit. I rate him highly (as he obviously deserves), but the things he gets away with, and the way he is treated is ridiculous. If someone was as fanatical about...say... Tommy Hearns (that MAG guy for example), and made allowances for every defeat, and favoured him over almost every, they'd be laughed out of here, and denounced as an idiiot troll.

Quite a few are up to these standards on Duran, and it's no big deal, because it's Duran. I find it very odd.

She was eating too little between heists, shoplifting way above her skill level, and she needed a pee.

I have seen people put Duran in the top 5, so in regards to that I would say he is overrated by some.

Duran is a top 10-15 atg in my opinion. Nothing lower

That depends......he is a top 10 p4p with ease.....but I not sure if you have a case for him between the top 3 or 5, in that case he would be overrated....

If people rank him in the Top 10 ATG's, then no, he's no overrated. If you rank him in the top 3 ATG.. then yes he's slightly overrated

I answered it. All of Duran's losses to one extent or another can be excused (i.e. past his prime, not in the right frame of mind, threw this punch at the wrong time, etc.). Every single one of them. If you want to get down to it, though, it's the rematch with Leonard that irks me. I know your thoughts on that one, though, and fair enough if that's what you believe, but I don't see the point in going over all this again. I swear this is probably the one thing I've argued more times than any other, apart from maybe Whitaker vs Duran/whoever the hell back in the day.

I'm not saying you're wrong, I've never said that from what I believe, maybe in the heat of the moment but I actually don't recall doing that. I think people get my 'credit to the winner' agenda confused with me saying their excuses are made up and totally born of false truths. All I ever try to stress is that I would like to give credit to people who win fights, because they deserve it.

Onbviously I'm not talking about giving William Joppy the same amount of credit for beating Duran as Leonard, let's be grown ups here
