    duran also did something neither they nor benitez could, beat srl (questionable decision over hagler aside) and regards ray not being prime in montreal, he was in much better shape then than duran for either rematch.

    Durans lightweight era was stacked with great talent and is widely considered by many a historian to be the second best lightweight era of all time. Lightweight is also considered the most talent rich division in the history of the sport.
