is Robinson at 147 just flat out unbeatable?

You don't think Robinson could walk through Leonards punches? Robinson walked through punches from bigger men and harder punchers.

Robinson is a bigger puncher than Leonard. He cuts the ring off better than Hagler. And he has more speed than Hagler.

It'd just my opinion but I can't see anything else but a robinson by stoppage.

Didn't say Robinson's D was porous. It's certainly not. But... SRL's is still a bit better. Plus he was better off the back foot.

No, I don't believe SRR walks through his punches. But if I was a gambling man, my money would be on SRR by UD.

People don't understand - there's no video of SRR at welterweight. Everything we ever saw of him was a past prime MW.....who looked phenomenal!

Just look at him in 57' 58' fighting Fulmer and Basillo - he's 37yrs old. He looks quicker, more agile, and fresher than any fighter alive today. It's amazing to think about.

We can not imagine what 26yr old SRR at WW would have looked like in the ring. The greatest ever.

No one is unbeatable but Hearns is the fighter I would give the best chance. Robinson would probably decision Leonard but Hearns, who is probably the hardest hitter ever at 147, could maybe hurt Robinson and after that, who knows?

Maybe he stuns Robinson. But thats about it.

Robinson smothers him and possibly finished him rather early.

Robinson would finish Hearns in the late rounds, Hearns doesn't have the chin to take Robinson's punishment. It would be another St. Valentines Day Massacre.

Its really incredible. If he was that good as an old, blown up middleweight he must have been otherworldly at 147.

I doubt his defense was ever that questionable either. There are gifs of him on youtube with incredible head movement.

He just knows that to win a fight you have to score.

Why leave it up for a contoversial decision? Just go in there and knock your opponent senseless. Then you can't make no mistakes.

Everyone is beatable, but Robinson was the best boxer of the last century in this sport, and he had unnatural reach and height advantages at welterweight. I wouldn't make anyone the favorite over him at welterweight.

SRR at 147 in his prime has no equal, it's as simple as that....
