Should never have gone up to fight garbage ass Ruiz, but it was the only thing at that point that I think really held his attention. If he'd schooled Tarver at 175 immediately, I bet he could have dominated LHW for at least the next 3-5 years.

Another win over Hopkins at 175, and none of these threads would exist. Oh well...

Roy's a legend in his own mind, just ask him. He's completely delusional and thinks he's one of the apostles now. F-in bimbo.

The man in man avatar has faced some of this decade's best including the #1 P4P fighter of his generation.. yeah, he went down 3 times in 1 round, got up and gave his opponent a boxing lesson and true beating... Your boy Roy went down like a sack of $hit and never got up.... TWICE.:rofl:rofl:lol::lol::rofl:rofl

My boy Roy has been more dominant than JMM could ever dream of. P4P #1 for years and a H2H terror for any boxer in history. Not to mention his wins over Toney and Hopkins **** all over JMM's career.:deal

Jones is a legend. End of story. His talent, his dominance are both amongst the best of all time across 3 weight classes, the absolute best in the world in super middle and light heavy while he was there and the all time best 168 fighter ever. H2H, one of the greatest ever. Anyone doubting it needs to watch his fights, BEFORE Ruiz (which a lot of people haven't sadly...)

:patsch:patsch Say what????? Who the F.. was Toney or who is he now..?? A nobody! Yes, a win over Bhops is nice but that was what?? some 20 years ago when both were competing for their 1st title??? Get real dude! Marquez quality of opposition in Pacman alone makes Roy's win over Bhop look like a speck on an elephant's a$$... Wanna do a poll as to which fight was better and more significant history wise??? ... Yeah, fighting firefighters, policemen, teachers and nobody's does make you look dominant, doesn't it?? :yep

I've watched them all... good fighter but anyone looks good against sub-par opponents. Fight the best and that makes all the difference.

he is a legend ... but he was never a great champion !

He never fully unified any division or defend title consecutively against
best opposition which is required from the 'great champion'.
