You people please. Its ****ing Jeff Lacy. Who's been schooled by Mendoza, Jermaine Taylor and now Roy Jones. Its was clear Roy would win a uni. Jeff Lacy cant even throw a left anymore.

Yeah that was definately a poor performance, Lacy has a fulltime job now as gatekeeper! maybe he can take his lunch breaks with Carlos Baldomir!

The beating from Calzaghe and the rotator cuff surgery have left Lacy with no way to live up to his nickname "Left Hook." He's indeed shot, but Roy is not ever going to be back to his old self.

A prime Jones would have annihilated this version of Lacy much sooner.

    No.

But he's still very good. It's just Lacy was made for Jones Jr, at least today's version.

Fightwriter got this one absolutely 100% spot-on.

No RJJ aint his old self. But this fight may help answer the question "just how far has he fallen"?

Before the fight people were wondering how he would go. The fact he can still dominate journeymen/gatekeeper types is a good thing. It doesn't mean he will ever beat a legit top fighter again; and I don't think he will - unless it was one who was just amazingly and coincidentally the total wrong style.

I think it's nice to see RJJ win at all. However, tonight was all about which declined fighter was going to have their illusions of relevance pointlessly prolonged. Now RJJ will go on to beat Danny Green. Green was a pretty damn good fighter in his own prime, but would have always been murdered by RJJ; expect Jones to win again and then start proclaiming he is back.

Ah well, if he is only doing it for some paydays then that is ok. If he seriously thinks he is gonna come back to his heyday he is insane. Either way, I hope he doesn't end up getting hurt too bad.

No but he has something left and Lacy was tailor made for him.

Baldomir can take a punch and became unified.

Lacy should take lunch breaks with Ortiz or somebody like that.
