No, I'll tell you what is fuking stupid. Answering a thread entitled, Is Jones The Best Fighter Ever? with idiotic fan boy type answers, such as Well yeah, but only if I take into consideration the bits of his career that suit me. Believe me THAT is ridiculous.
Well Roy now has new trainers and hasn't lost so far with his new trainers. Now find out about his current trainers Russ Anber - owner and creator of Rival Boxing Gloves etc http://rivalboxing.us/ The CornerMan Official Trailer - The unbelievable true story of Valrice "WHOP" Cooper. He's RJJ current trainer. Here's the website www.cornermanfilm.com but it only shows the youtube video trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAWjjHCW20U https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNFeuohx5ag
Roy has also started training with a Gravity Plus suit. Check the video with the person that designed the gravity suit Jim Foster. He has had other boxers/athletes such as Tim Bradley etc. Wear the gravity suit, but the most they could do is only 2-3 rounds. Even with being 46 years old Roy is the only one that can do a full 12 rounds wearing the gravity suit and he's only been using it for about a month. http://www.pnj.com/videos/sports/2015/03/25/70458300/ Here's Roy talking about the gravity suit being his secret weapon to get back in top form right before his last fight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCt-P1kAkns See Jim Foster give Ellie a demonstration with the gravity plus suit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExfUd5riO0g See this interview with Jim Foster talking about his creations and claims of his Gravity Plus suit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFikqoP4Bj8
Thanks for the great info. I read up on this just prior to Roy's last fight. It's very interesting, and Roy's still got the will. But his legs still look static to me. It appears that the Huck fight is a genuine possibility, and that bothers me a lot. Despite Roy's youthful desire, I think Roy will get hurt and stopped if it happens later this year. :good
You welcome. From what I heard from my research on the Gravity Plus suit is medical device and it helps to repair the body. RJJ has only been using it for little over month for his last fight. The longer he uses the better it will help him. So he's been looking great with subpar competition. See RJJ training Alisa Apps toward the end of the video wearing the gravity plus suit. He seems to be moving better on his feet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvYKhHL3T9g I wish Jones would fight someone of the caliber of BJ Flores before he fought Huck, because then we can truly see if he is ready for a fight like that.
Like some gravity suit is the miracle cure for a shot fighter. Roy needs the fountain of youth, not a gravity suit.
That's true, but that doesn't mean the Gravity Plus Suit doesn't work. It's an official medical device that has helped many people improve themselves from injuries or just bad health in general. http://www.gravityplustraining.com/
he's not the GOAT, no. Great fighter though and not the glass chinned joke, as his detractors like to say.
I think that it will definitely help him both physically and mentally. He's on a huge high at the moment. He's full of confidence and looks in great shape. But I think we have to be realistic. It's not going to help his reflexes, and give him back his great footwork that he once possessed. I too would like to see him step up his competition before fighting Huck. But I just don't want to see him get hurt. Thanks a lot for the video, I've never seen him actually work out in it before. Have you heard that he's planning to fight twice in two weeks in August? :good
Yes, I did hear about him fighting twice in a month again in August. Still the competition could be better, but at least he tries to stay busy until he gets the big fight he is looking for.
