I think Rubio is a tough match for Lemieux too. One of my most anticipated fights for the 1st half of the year for sure.
I think it's gonna be fairly short. Rubio doesn't have the biggest heart out there, neither does he have a great defence. I bet he saw what Naugler looked like at the end of his fight vs Lemieux. David will train for almost 4 months, the longest (!) he's spent preparing against an opponent so far in his career. Russ Anber knows that this is David's step-up fight to the big leagues, and that Yvon Michel wants Lemieux in a title fight by the end of the year. Lemieux KO/TKO Rubio under 6.
Finally agreed, April 8 at the Bell Center:happy:happy And then, the winner of Chavez Jr.-Zbik for Lemieux.:bbb
The only scenario that wouldn't allow for that to happen is if Martinez comes back to hunt the belt holder after he fights Dzin... Lemieux would only be able to land a shot at the title around Feb/Mar 2012. Not a bad thing, really, I'm just not expecting either Zbik or Chavez Jr to be uber excited at the idea of defending the belt against a hungry young puncher less than a year after their fight (tentatively scheduled for May). If Lee wants a shot at the winner of Zbik/Chavez Jr like his people alluded to, make Lee-Lemieux happen in July/Aug. :smoke
canadafags are worse than poles when it comes to hyping their fighters, maybe its because they dont have many good fighters?
