Is Russell Brand a good enough tune-up for Ward, before the Krusher?

Shock holds Ward to VERY low standards. He's fine with the Brand fight :rofl:rofl

You realize that Brand is not being used to prepare him stylistically?

    Huh??? You are stupid.

Stick to what was actually said by Ward (160) instead of your stupid hypotheticals.

And yes, you are absolutely correct, Ward is still boring and can't fill the home arena. haha

No, he should at least have two or three other ones like Brand, than maybe Kovalev, if he has a good name on his resume, might be worthy enough to fight Ward.

It's not a tune up if you've already been back a year and fought several other opponents. It's just poor competition at this point. Fighting the #24 super middleweight in the world isn't the best way to prepare for the #1 light heavyweight, but that's how Ward operates. His whole career is going to be a tune up for some mega fight that never appears.

If you're going to be a total moron about things then what's the point? You've had things explained to you countless times yet you act like you haven't. You're a very, very sad **** to carry on like this.

This is the last time I'll chalk it out for you, so take it or leave it. You'll leave it because you're a nut job but whatever.

Ward is better than Froch and Chavez Jr. Carl and Junior were also lucrative paydays at the time. Ward, not so much. Having not fought at 168 before, these names would have been an ideal way to test the water IMO. If GGG had done a number on Froch, he would have proven himself to even his fiercest detractors and everyone would have been clamouring for him to take on Ward, who I would have hoped had also returned to the ring in that time to shake off any ring rust.

You claimed that this wanting a fight or two at the weight constituted a duck on Golovkin's part, despite it making perfect sense for him to get a couple of big names on his resume and a **** load of cash whilst simultaneously allowing Andre to be the best he could be.

Now, as if you want to prove what a hypocritical idiot you are, you're fine with Ward acclimatising to the weight above before taking on Kovalev in exactly the same manner against THREE opponents who are considerably worse than Froch and Chavez and two of which aren't even true LHWs.

If you can't see that then I pity you. Now run along and troll someone else. I'm done here.

    Good post.

Ward has had ample time to find good opponents and so far has come up with a top 15 fighter in Barrera.

Smith was a joke fight and now Brand.

I like Ward but imo its as though he's getting the dollars in prior to cashing out to Kovalev.

I have Kovalev winning but boxing is good with Ward in it.
