Is Russell Brand a good enough tune-up for Ward, before the Krusher?

Sounds like a test to me

but u could prob catch something from Brand if u are in a ring with him

either something hes picked up from a female or his reprehensible champagne socialism ideology

tbh id rather catch the former

hahaha this post is pretty sad in all honesty...its basically rehashing the same old garbage youve already tried to use....

lil g and wards "circumstances" were different...ward is trying to make up for 2 years on inactivity..in the ring...and in his wallet....he and kovalev are about to make the best fight in boxing and both are about to risk their 0...what exactly is lil g up to? trying to fool us into thinking eubank is "special"?

had lil g landed froch or chavez i might be willing to go along with your silly idea...but he landed neither...and still to this day doesnt have a decent scalp or fight on his resume....

and now hes going to try to fool everyone into thinking a guy that just beat tom doran, lost to saunders, and has a resume full of domestic level bums is a big fight?

so you didnt answer the question...according to loeffler "we think ward needs more tuneups"...and according to lil g's fans "ward needed tuneups"....."lil g wanted to fight ward straight away but ward wasnt up for that"

was it ward that needed these tuneups? or was it lil g that needed em to get used to 168? which one?

last time i checked ward emailed k2 in sept 2015...k2 replied "were not interested..maybe in 2017 it might be possible"....and all of 2016 was a wasteland...while lil hoped to get a jr mw in the ring...which he didnt get.......so lil g is giving us dom wade and eubank...ward is giving u barrera, brand and kovalev

of course kovalev being better than anything lil will ever do in a boxing ring....once ward adds that to his resume lil g will never be able to catch up....not even close

thats why there is a difference....you tool

Frankly I think Kovalev is going to tune him up really well.

He's going to play Ward like a piano :D

You're undoubtedly the most pathetic poster I've ever engaged with upon here.

I've made it clear in every post including the last one that I thought Ward needed to come back and get himself back in tip top condition following his stupid layoff. I also think it would have been good for GGG to simultaneously establish himself as a force at 168. They would have been building towards the fight TOGETHER you idiot.

Clearly Ward agrees he needed tune ups, hence the reason why he came back against the likes of Paul ****ing Smith and followed that up with Barrera and Brand. Hardly a murderers row.

Trolling or not, you need help you cretin. Now why don't you dare to be rational.

he came back with smith at 172 to keep himself ready for a possible 168 fight....he realized lil g wasn't interested(a fact that was made clear by k2) and decided to move on to full lhw

all lil g's fans claim, that while ward was shelved, lil g told hbo he was ready to fight ward...but ward couldn't...lil g even released a statement saying he told hbo he was ready...this was well before ward sent an email

how come lil g was ready to go then...and ready to go with froch and chavez...and ready to go with zurdo ...without testing 168 first?

the truth is he wants no part of ward....how long do you expect ward to wait for lil g? stay at 168 through 2016 and hope maybe 2017 is possible? lol...idiot....that's almost as sad as lil g waiting around and hoping canelo might throw him a bone...now that's pathetic! and lil g is still waiting....still hoping 2017 might be a dream come true...

ward might want tuneups ...he might not need them...but what he does like is hbo is willing to pay him for them when hes missed out on nearly 2 years of paydays....remember...the wallet is always a factor

ward has bigger and better without lil g anyway...lil g has domestic level eubank....

im always being rational and using sound logic...u guys just don't like what you hear...you don't wanna hear it...u don't wanna face the truth your boy is a coward and ducker...and an attempted cherrypicker...it hurts your foolish pride....

No he isn't, Brand is just cheap, Ward just don't generate money on his own so it's always going to be hard to get him opponents.

I cant disagree....brand is prob the cheapest option...hbo has a shrinking budget...and ward is looking to maximize his payout im sure

:good it happens, Ward isn't the only fighter that has done it and certainly won't be the last, they have gone and got a cheap option and an easy fight before a very important big fight.

    it is what it is.

This line alone proves your haven't got the ability to comprehend what I've said to you.

I've always said Ward was levels above both Froch and Chavez and he's levels above Zurdo now IMO. Hence why those fights would have shown us one way or another whether or not GGG was ready for Ward at 168. I've been very consistent in saying that unlike you the dummy who changes his opinion each and every time the wind blows.

Coincidentally, it would have been good to see Ward simultaneously have a comeback fight or two at the same time to get his hype train rolling again and prep both for a career defining clash.

again...explain why lil g himself released a statement saying he was ready to go when they were at hbo offices(funny this was the same time ward was on the shelf though)...and lil gs fans keep saying the same thing

make sure to remind them every time they use that excuse and say "ward needed tuneups" that lil g himself actually needed tuneups too

the timing was also basically now or never as ward wasn't going to wait a year or more for lil g.....but if lil g was ready at hbo offices why not then? he had time to take lemiuex fight...and maybe take a 168 and meet in april may of 2016.......

I have told people that it would have been fair for Ward to take tune ups. I've even said I think it was the sensible thing to do before taking on Kovalev. I think he's wasted those tune ups in terms of actual prep in favour of hogging the purses but that's his lookout.

If he's unprepared for Kovalev because of his previous choices of opponent then that's his prob. It doesn't make any difference to me. I think Kovalev is a pretty awful human being so watching him get beat would be good but at the same time Ward couldn't be more smug if he tried so it'd be equally funny to watch him and his conceited fans take an L.
