Be fair, Pac was only a 4 year old street urchin at the time of the fight , who hadn't eaten for 6 months to make weight...that knockdown doesn't count. Torrecampo was a bum :deal

Yeah, he was so good. He's in the league with Singsurat. Both boxers are above Pac's level and way above Barrera, Morales, JMM, ODLH, Pernell, JCC and Camacho and in this case, way above SRL, Benitez, Duran, Hearns and Hagler! This two great Asian boxers should be high up there in ATG list.atsch

 

The guy retired after that fight with Pac. He was not a bad at all. Just like a typical boxer in the Philippines, he had a menial job and fought "professionally" for a side job. Poorly trained, mismanaged and malnourished, his skills could certainly qualify him as a bum.

 

AGREE, JMM should beat Torrecampo in order to be P4P which he really isn`t.

 

I think the kayo was legit, but there have been instances where fighters have dropped hard on their back as a result of the shots to the gut (Zaragoza against Morales as an example) so I think it's understandable why some thought it was a shot to the solar plexus.

Either way, it was a good shot landed to a young version of Pac.
