He is a not only a bum but also a natrual super feather weight who barley threw a punch. I wont be surpised if he was paid off or just turned up for his check. Total joke of a fight.

 

He’s got some flaws but at this level he’s looking very good.

His style seems the same but sometikes improvements mean getting the guy in the best possible mental and physical shape in order to fight his style.

Goes to show what level big talking Diaz stands at, nothing surprising or unpredictable about this fight's outcome from my side.

He has improved some already and his chin is no longer a mile up in the air.

jab was more frequent and effective.

Footwork still needs to improve along with stop moving backwards in straight lines.

 

Here is my take on Garica, then I'm moving on.

For his own sake he needs to be beaten...badly. I'm not saying because I don't like the kid
(Well I don't but hear me out), I'm saying it because:
* he has an ass kissing entourage which is amazing for someone so young
* he has millions of ass kissing social media fans
* he looks in the mirror only to enjoy himself because he doesn't even shave yet
* he has fought only less opponents with far less ability, in other words he hasn't been
challenged in the ring yet.

I saw a recent video with Shakur Stevenson talking about absorbing punishment from Mayweather while sparring. He couldn't believe he was so out worked and it made him determined to improve his boxing skills.

Garcia, needs humility. He needs a challenge. Otherwise he will only continue to believe his mirror and his minions and will never get to a real championship level.

 

He needs more time and a bit more maturity but he looked pretty good against a solid opponent last night. Ryan has great power, a sneaky powerful left hand and he is long and tall. This presents problems for opponents at 135 but he needs to work on his footwork and fix a few bad habits to achieve his full potential. For a young fighter I like what I see in the ring but he’s far from a finished product. This version of Garcia beats Haney and Tank. Stevenson is another matter because he’s fast and smart. When both guys are prime and at their best, that would be a classic matchup. Probably a few years away from happening.

His form looked good but he wasn't fighting anybody. I think that his move to 140 is good for him. There are some good fights for him there With Ramirez, Teo, Taylor, Prograis, plus I think that Stevenson and Haney is gonna move up to that division.
