Garcia looked good, but Fortuna was an accomplice in his shine. Fortuna looked older than his age and I thought the result was a foregone conclusion early. I believe Goosen has done some good work with Garcia but I saw some flaws like his stationary head when he threw punches. A good counter puncher would nail him easily. At present I'd favor Tank Davis over him along with a few others but he is sooo young .
Yes Goosen has him looking better because he's thinking better. Garia is still stiff throughout his entire body, heavy and flat footed.... but he's using his jab more (which he should be throwing even MORE often), and he's transitioning from counter puncher to aggressor much more fluidly. He's coming behind a jab finally, feinting and setting up shots and combos, while always being ready to uncork the counter. The move to 140 has been good. Believe him when he says he's never going back down. Twink Davis won't touch that of course so looking forward to Teofimo soon.
