The dude was a legit boxer in till he became an Instagram boxer then decided to lay off the typical route to legacy and success by fighting legit and stepping up competition and is now floundering cherry picking his way through life. Lopez came in slapped old man bogeyman Lomachenko out of the division briefly to give them all a gasp of fresh air Then Lopez himself dropped the ball heavily and has probably lost the plot Garcia & Gervonta are cotton padded products meanwhile Haney has swooped in and stole all the bacon. I had high hopes for Davis but his management are not making any moves with him. All the hype is around guys who don't deserve it. As boxing purists we should not talk or speak about them in till they legitimize themselves which would be very easy for them to do.
Ryan Garcia is a god damn joke at this point in the sports of boxing. I was critical with guys like Tank in the past but Garcia is even a much bigger joke in terms of cherry picking his way through. He has 23 fights and 1 decent opponent on his resume which is Luke Campbell. And that was a back and forth fight where he got dropped and didn't look great. Fortuna was a terrible opponent. Fortuna had no business fighting a young and big guy at 140 pounds. It was a mismatch and a joke. Garcia should start fighting legit guys and especially guys of his own size. He shouldn't talk about Haney or Tank or other guys. He has done NOTHING at all to deserve a title shot. People claiming Tank or Haney duck him are RIDICULOUS. I favor both over CRYan.
I thought he was quite a likeable kid when he was coming through. These days I can't get past the 1kg of King Ryan metal hanging round his neck - WTF is all that about?
He just had the right style to deal with Lomachenko, Lomachenko lives the life clearly and stays in shape year round, there's no way he was washed at 32
