He's been inactive since April and it doesn't look like he's fighting anytime soon. Apparently he's waiting for his shot at the WBO title while Bradley is fighting Rios next month. That means he will remain inactive for almost a year till he can actually fight Bradley (that if everything goes as planned), and even if he does fight Bradley in the end, in my opinion he doesn't have much of a chance.

What do you think? Do you think he's doing the right thing? Should he pursue other opportunities?

At the least I think he should stay active.

Better staying busy fighting a journeyman, than allowing rust to creep in in the meantime.

I feel taking on a journeyman is less of a risk than staying out of the ring for too long in your prime.

I also am a bit biased, as I'm fcking sick of seeing fighters in their prime wait it out because of the boxing politics etc.

He shouldn't be pursuing other opportunities, the guy needs to keep out of trouble and stay focused on boxing.

all fighters have flaws, i prefer to call them weaknesses which are more related to his fighting attributes such as lack of power

otherwise he is very technically sound...doesnt make too many mistakes in the ring
