And Peter also happened to be getting punched flat in the nose continuously.

Peter said he did not want to continue in his fight with Vitali.

Peter has lost some weight and looks better than ever. He will train harder for his fight with Vlad than any other fight within his career, but it won't be enough to beat Vlad. Vlad will knock Peter out. Peter will try to hit Vlad behind the head, and shove Vlad like he did before, it just won't work.

The only embarrasing thing in the thread is this post. It is embarrasing for the person who wrote it. :deal

Vitaliy KlitschKO fought injured for 6 rounds. Afterwards he underwent a surgery that lasted hours. He had to recover for months. He made the right decision. Nowadays, he wins awards and WBC is proud of its champion.

But Wlad always had his amazing talent and was groomed in the old Sovjet sports system. By the time he changed his team to improve, he already had impressive KO's of fighters who were never KO'd before. Peter, at no point in his career, would have starched even the 41 year old version of Mercer. At just 23 years, Wlad destroyed Schulz, who held his own against Foreman and Moorer. Wlad easily beat Byrd before the debacles against Sanders and Brewster, any version of Peter would be embarrassed be Byrd.

Wlad was a vulnerable genius when the need to imrpve arose. Peter would have to reach a whole new level of ability he never had to be a world beater.

Nah, he would beat Peter to a pulp for a few rounds and then do some crazy **** to lose the fight. As always in big fights.

I think he's *gonna be done* after this fight, as a world class contender, anyway.

After this fight I see Peter's career either winding down and him retiring for a couple years, or continue on and fight the C and maybe some B level opponents, making money while he can.

Being in better shape again is one thing; what Peter always needed was better technical skills.

The Toney fights looked like a godsend because he seemed to learn from that and deliver a much more polished performance in the rematch. Optimism was high as he clubbed Maskaev to a stoppage for the WBC title.

But then he seemed to completely regress against McCline and Vitali.
McCline could barely miss him and had him down three times, while Vitali was less devastating but gave him angles that Peter seemed utterly incapable of handling. Then the lowest point of the Chambers loss where he was blubbery and uninterested.

Wladimir has had five years of confidence building, while Peter's had losses and knockdowns. Peter will need to show both strong fortitude and better boxing smarts to win this one, because at the moment I see Wladimir even stopping him late.

But then, he was described by certain Klitschko fans as a hopeless, stumbling, crude idiot with no ability before both fights against Wlad and Vitali, so I don't know why they count them as such big wins... (stirs pot, stirs pot)

Agree with what, that Peter is a second rate fighter at best? I think most people would agree, not just Polish.

In the 2nd fight Golota looked at the ref to make sure he was looking. Once he established eye contact then bing-bing-bing, end of fight, end of Bowe. That fight should have been stopped way before Golota took matters into his own hands.
