Becaue he is a haye fan and has to resort to grasping at straws. Because his man has no balls.

His timing has gotten better but he still has some stylistic flaws. He telegraphs even his jab at times, whereas he used to have a very good, heavy, almost Foreman-esque looking jab.

I watched the 2005 Peter-Wlad fight on Youtube last night and it was a fantastic fight. Wlad dominated the opening rounds but got hammered in the 5th, and then used his athleticism to keep a distance for the rest of the fight. But there was another knockdown in the 10th, and all the way through the 12th it was possible Peter would KO him.

Wlad's style is perfected now so it's hard to imagine him being as vulnerable. On the other hand if Peter is at 235 instead of 245 on Sept 11 maybe he can deploy some extra speed.

Only way Peter wins is by KO. At least this guy is going to put it on the line.

Yes, he's done. Peter should be fightin that BUM Povetkin, and WHUP his ass.

I don't think Briggs can BEAT Wlad, but Wlad needs to get in the ring with Briggs. That's a MUCH better fight than Peter.

I give peter credit for not just giving up. Changed his team and seems to be more on track. I dont know if he is ready for Wlad, but time will tell.

****... at least we know Sam will sign the contract and show up

Peter has looked in decline ever since that second fight. I honestly think he was mentally broken. He has also never looked 100% about conditioning. With his physicality he should have been much more than he was. His time has come and gone.

He is still a decent fighter and, if he really dedicated himself, he could make some waves. K2 is just unlike any other mountain on Earth. The skill and professional attitude toward being a pro combat athlete is second to none. Too much catching up to do for this generation of HWs.

I cannot predict Sam Peter. I thought he was really improving at one point and then he regressed. I don't understand him. He's up, he's down, he's back, he's forth...I don't know.

Looks like he's back and in shape. If he stays with that he'll get a title fight. If he can knock Haye on his chinny chin chin he might be champion.

Sam is a 2nd rate fighter at best and that's the difference.
