Not really. That is why a fighter has a coach. In any case though, Peter doesn't impress me as a dumb man. What gives you that impression? The plan would be dead simple. Keep your hands up and rush close to him and maul him for 2-4 rounds. Try to drop him after that. Come on now man. You are taking this too personally. Saying the guy can be broken isn't knocking him as a great champion. Your first tip off is that ALL of his losses are by KO. Second did you see any of them? Once caught cleanly he looked a complete mess. Be it mental or physiological, Wlad can be broken if he gets cracked a few. He is still one of the greatest HWs to ever do it. The problem is that Peter, and most HWs these days, will never get himself into the shape that it takes to be able to implement the relentless pressure a Swarmer needs to apply. They are "one punch wonders".
Not a dumb man per se. A dumb boxer. I have absolutely no idea who trains the guy but his fundamentals really aren't that solid and his style isnt developed. His physical talent is so great that it's allowed him to come this far. He might be able to win if he can implement a game plan, especially because of Wlads undeniably **** chin, I just see it as a wash for Wlad. I'm not taking it personally btw, i hate both Klits but when it comes down to it i can be objective about it. Wlad isn't the most durable fighter, but i think he has more heart than a lot of people give him credit for. Indeed about the swarming bit. Its no coincidence that the best HW swarmers are much smaller guys(Marciano, Frazier,Dempsey) . I actually think that Wlad could be outboxed by a lewis/holmes type fighter with a good reach as well.
I can agree with that. The guy looks very amateurish when looking at his body/hand positioning and balance after throwing shots. He probably does need a good HW trainer. So to your point, I doubt he will have anything more than "hit him" when the fight starts. I was just sayin... What if? :think What makes you say he has "heart"? I guess that is where I blur the line between chin and mental toughness. Wlad is definitely a disciplined guy. His shape and ability to implement game plans attest to this, but in a fight when the going gets rough? Wlad gets KTFO.
Arreola fought as an Am at light heavy. And Sam Peter has never been a promising talent. He had the boxing hype machine behind him firmly. But there nothing about his style or ring intelligience that makes him promising. He's not even a decent slugger.
Wont make any difference what weight he comes in at. Other than a hail mary which is his only chance to win Vlad will soundly outbox him and possibly stop him late like Vitali did.
Why do ****s like you keep saying this as an excuse for Peter to come in with rolls of flab folding over his shorts? When he comes in fat he usually fights like fat ****. You, and every other idiot Peter fans, should know this by now and should be supporting him geetting in shape for once, not making excuses for his fat, lazy ass
Wlad will stop him by the mid rounds IMO. I saw the look in Peter's eyes in the Vitali and Chambers fights. He has no more heart for the fight game. When you've lost that you're done as a boxer.
In a rarely addressed side note. Many insiders feel that Peter is actually a few years older than reported. Not altoghether uncommon to manipulate or even extimate an individuals age when proper birth records may not be kept. Sam Peter sure as heck did not look like a 19 year old at the Sydney Olympics.
Well, he's probably around 250 now, which means he's gotta lose another 10 pounds by Sept.11. This is not good, seeing as he's supposed to have been training at Big Bear for the last month and a half at least. You'd think a professional boxer would want fairly elite fitness 2 weeks before the fight--you don't want to be expending tons of energy to slim down at this point.
Whats wrong with him! Man he lokked in excellen shape against nagy aguilera now he looks like he is pregnent! This really dissapoints me!
