What territory comes with it? This is not the norm and there's a reason for it. Boxing is a business and a Sport which is about discipline, the boxers that maintain that discipline are the best in the World, there also a reason for that. I not too fussed about it, im responding to the article and highlighting why its not good for boxing and I standby that, you can joke and laugh about streetfighting but it's differernt and something we also want to avoid.
Just read the article in The Sun in a builders canteen. It's a load of garbage. The Sun has decided to back Haye and villify Chisora. They even go as far as to say an apology from Chisora isn't worth the paper its written on while Haye has made a full and frank apology. Anyone who has read both apologies would know this is a completely arse about face analogy of the contents of the two written statements.
Its 'The Sun'... Who gives a flying **** what they think. Its a toilet rag that's one down from the Daily Mail. And barely one up from the Daily Sport. Two guys fighting or an organisation deeply involved in systemic corruption with the Police and internally? They have no moral ground or reputation to be preaching from.
It's not good for boxing, but it's not the travesy some parts of the media are portraying it as. And this isn't an "eeeevil media!" stance. Just that some reporters will always do things in a certain way for maximum impact and outrage out of a story.
Apparently so, im now at a bit of a loss to why I actually like boxing. If this was a regular occurence then boxing would not last very long.
