Of course I saw the fight and it could have gone either way imo. However, the official decision was a loss for Kovalev and that’s what I have to go with. I think Lomachenko is already a HOFr along with Alvarez. I can probably come up with a few more if I thought about it.

you dont have to go with anything just because 3 judges tell you ward got the victory, you make up your own mind and score as YOU see it. b
i thought you were an experienced head, surely you must have tales about the robberies youve seen during the years, you dont just watch a fight and say oh well he got the decision he won that fight.

Maybe there's going to be a petition to vote Carlos Monzon out then? Not only was it well known that he used to beat up all his wives but he was even convicted of killing his last wife.

What will help determine if Kovalev gets in the HOF is his official record not the record his fans think it should be. I thought the decision in the first Ward fight could have gone either way and definitely was not a robbery. You saw it differently. That’s cool but the official decision was a loss.

I detect sarcasm, but Monzon may well get the boot eventually, particularly if a mainstream biopic comes out. Robinson is untouchable.

The big differences between Monzon and Kovalev are that Monzon (1) is much more accomplished and (2) got inducted a long time ago.

His resume is not ATG. His Ward loses hurt him, as does not fighting Stevenson. The Stevenson situation isn't Krusher's fault, but he still didn't fight his biggest LHW rival.

H2H is a different matter, though. With his power and skills, I think he would give most fighters from any era a tough night.

I think people have different ways of viewing these thing's
    Do others view

    Dariusz michalczewski
    &
    Zsolt erdei

    As atgs?

Michalczewski won wbo wba ibf titles and beat the fighter stripped of the WBC title

Erdei made several defences before relinquishing and beat champ Gonzales, twice beat future champ Garay, former champ sahnoune, Ulrich, amongst his title wins at lhw

I am no expert on these thing's and my opinion is not worthy of rating brave people who put their health at risk

You scored the second fight for Kovalev by UD, because your IQ is -83.

Good LHW, but not an ATG. At least not yet.

You can say that it was a close fight that could have gone either way. Thats fine. But it's a contrarion opinion. Well over half the people who watched the fight thought Kovalev won convincingly.

And there was no surprise that a heavily pro EE boxing board came to that conclusion either.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and, at the end of the day, it’s only the opinion of the judges that matter.

For the official result that's true. We will never see the day that most boxing fans, fighters and media think that Ward won the first fight.
