Is Sergio Martinez Over rated?

Yup.

I'm a Sergio fan, but him being the number one Middleweight of the world by a long distance, shows you how **** the division is. I mean, if the Hopkins, Toneys and Jones were around today, would we be talking about him the way we are now?

 

He doesn't have stellar resume but I think most of us see that he has that 'It & X-factor'..

 

I was wondering, how and when did this "Sexy Sergio" thing begin?

It's even on the MMA forums.

 

Leon used to troll ESB threads by posting face shots of Sergio and called him Sexy SErgio

Not impressed with him and this is the first I've watched him more than 1 round.

 

Sexy Serg is looking unimpressive. Barker is making him pay for his sloppiness and poor defensive fundamentals.

Actually, Serg just makes a lot of fundamental errors in general.

 

Martinez is looking bad sure won't help him to land a mega fight.

 

It might actually help him, if Floyd or Manny (or Arum) figures he looks more beatable.

 

Is he over rated? Well -- are you watching this British bartender whip his ass?

 

Definitely a bit overrated, being exposed tonight.

 

He is overrated, yeah...I'm watching proof of that right now, but he is still a very skilled fighter, just not as skilled as some people make him out to be.
