Is Sergio Martinez Over rated?

"Exposed"? I don't know about all that. He isn't being exposed. This has happened many, many times...a heavily favored fighter getting a much tougher fight than people expected. He isn't getting exposed, but this fight - just like his last one is proof that he isn't this Superman that people make him out to be.

 

I think Sergio overlooked Barker.....Fighters will sometimes fight down to the level of their lesser opponents, or they simply overlook them and have a harder time than they should. Barker is solid... But Sergio shouldnt be struggling.

 

Martinez better score a KO to look good tonight

Like I said before. Martinez is overrated. Is not that Barker was great or anything, Martinez just looked bad.

 

Against a guy that had defense, had a bad fight and still ko'd him.

this is why donaire should be ranked ahead of him in the p4p lists, he shouldn't reallly have been struggling against a journeyman like that.

 

He is a great fighter. Sergio Mama Mia Martinez just touches his shorts and nose way too much.

 

He drew with Cintron, though robbed and lost to PW. He has good power and above the rest at his division but IMO, p4p, Wlad/Donaire/Cotto would be in contention.

People wanting to rank him above FMJ/Pac...the latter consistenly looks a level above HOF/Elite fighters, yet alone journeymens.
