Again, no credit given to Mosely. He didn't have to move up 2 classes and fight the best without settling into the division first. Don't exagerate the situation to suit your agenda.

Some of you guys can't read! I said Mosley is overrated TODAY, a few months AGO he was on the TOP 10 P4P list! WHY!?

When he was a lightweight he was a beast, today he is a stepping stone, B fighter beater, a gate keeper. That's all.

So you didn't mean that he has always been overated?

Then why downgrade his accomplishment against DLH? Whats the purpsose? Seemed to me that was a part of the equation of his being overated.

Mosley was a beast at lightweight with unbelievable power, combination puncher and mad speed.

Mosley was a better fighter than DLH was at 147 in 2000. He was better prepared and had more desire. And deserved the recognition he received after the win.

Mosley lost something, infact lost alot in the Forrest fight. He was never quite the same after fighting Forrest and since has looked Horrible in a couple fight being dominated twice imo, and taking on B- contenders who have been beat far worse by other fighters we don't hype so much. Yet people had him as P4P top 10. I feel he is not what he was in 2001, and he's not.

I don't think Shane is overated. The last few years I think age has been a bit of a factor, when he was at his peak though, what a hell of a fighter he was....and still is. I was impressed with him in his loss against Cotto, he got hit &pushed around a lot, and stayed in there against the younger, stronger man. I've always been a big Mosley fan.

Except for Winky, I'm sure he'd beat everyone there.

Vargas? The Shot version or the prime version because Mosley fought the shot version.
Forrest? The one hit wonder who couldn't even beat a past primed Quartey?
DLH? Well he got the descision.
Winky? Who knows, Winky has always been a big Jr. MW. Still a 50/50 chance. I doubt he would get dominated ala Mosley.

    Crappy response dude.

I took his post to mean PBF fighting all those fighters in the context that Mosely did- not fighting them now.

    Floyd would not beat Winky.

yes mosley is overrated. His performance against de la hoya in 2000 was breathtaking, but i have been dissapointed with what he has done since,he beat vargas, collazo and de la hoya again (robbery)
