Is Shannon Briggs a danger to Vitali

A shot Briggs couldn't endanger Iggy and that was years ago. I don't see how Briggs could bring more than a lucky punch risk to Vitali's solid chin.

 

"Briggs-Tua" would be to my liking in 2010, but team Tua has no hair on their balls and they will never sign a paper to face Briggs or either K-brother..... At least Shannon Briggs has the hair on his balls to fight anyone will a decent offer..... I respect that.....

Briggs is only a danger to himself nowadays.

 

I think it has as much to do with dollar signs in his bank account as hair on his balls (which, incidentally, he felt compelled to show to his last opponent in the dressing room before the fight... don't ask).

But you're right, a guy like Tua is crazy to turn down a titleshot at this stage of his career. Titleshots don't grow on trees..

Briggs has two rounds to give it his best ... as previously stated here he is a huge puncher and very fast ... he is big with a long reach ... if he is in terrific shape, a HUGE if, he has a shot of catching Vitali with a few big shots early ... Briggs has the power to hurt an aging Viyali ... however, my quess is that Vitali is way too smart and will be prepared to weather any early storm as he was against Chris A. and ends up stoping Brigs in about six ...

If Briggs comes rushing out and fires a Hail Mary right hand that lands on Vitali, and even if it has a visible effect, it'll be only momentarily and then the fight will settle down to it's inevitable course...of a brutal, methodical, one sided beating inflicted on Briggs. Expect this one to end much like the Danny Williams fight..with a downed and battered Briggs being rescued by the referee in 4 or 5. It's almost a foregone conclusion, this one is.

 

Ibragimov was a completely different type of fighter to Vitali

 

at the age these fighters are ,they could loose it in between fights.i've seen it happen maytimes before

 

Tua is in negotiations for Wlad at the moment. Also had a shoulder injury that was carried into the Barrett fight that is just about fully healed now

 

Briggs is shott to shitt............vitalis an athlete briggs is not.....even when vitali was inactive from the injury he stayed in shape and shannon briggs did the riddick bowe and balooned to 334 lbs.....last 3 fights he been weighing 263 to 268 lbs.....in thE press conferance with vitali he had a belly still and looked around 265 lbs.....i think he will be around 259 or so....but shannon doesnt move his head h is bulky as shitt / he will be somewhat dangerous for 2 rds but thats it.............i think briggs will get knocked out in 4 rds and get a beating for 4 rds......like i said he talked his way into a title shot fighting 3 fukin stiffs/.............vitali tkos shannon in 4rds and the fight wont even be close.............. I rather see tua/wlad at this point....at least tua trains and gets to 237 lbs shannon is just a fukin mouth piece..........even david haye woulda knocked briggs out and quickly speed kills.

Vitali isn't unstoppable by any means, but averaging 5 punches a round isn't to get the job done no matter how much power is involved.
